AmaWaterways today proudly announced that it has received the award for Best Overall Supplier and Best River Cruise Line of the Year during the 25th annual CoNexion Conference. This marks the seventh consecutive year that AmaWaterways has been named Best River Cruise Line and the third time over the past four years it has been awarded Best Overall Supplier, as voted by Nexion’s travel advisors across the United States and Canada. AmaWaterways’ Co-Founders, Kristin Karst and Rudi Schreiner, accepted the awards on behalf of the leading river cruise company during the conference, held virtually October 1-3.

With 18 years of award-winning service, AmaWaterways continues to stand out as a champion for the travel advisor community, receiving countless accolades for its support, resources and innovative tools designed to grow their business. In 2020, AmaWaterways launched weekly Webinar Wednesday training sessions, virtual Sip & Sail events for advisors and their clients and a Virtual Marketing Suitcase that provides shareable content, social media tips and training for advisors looking to sell intimate river cruise vacations. AmaWaterways has hosted more than 2,000 virtual events and town halls providing travel advisors with continuing education and sharing news directly from its top executives and co-owners. Also recently launched is the AmaWaterways YouTube channel with more than 60 YouTube videos showcasing the warm service, diverse cultural experiences and culinary delights included with an AmaWaterways river cruise journey.
In 2021, AmaWaterways will continue striving for excellence with the launch of five new itineraries and land programs in Europe; the return to the legendary Nile with the newly designed AmaDahlia; and the debut of sister ships AmaSiena and AmaLucia. In response to the heightened demand for these luxurious new offerings and personalized travel experiences, AmaWaterways opened bookings for its 2022 season six months earlier than in years past. The award-winning company has also launched its popular “Sell Five, Sail Free” program early, giving travel advisors until December 2021 to earn a complimentary river cruise.
