In addition to the Amsterdam route, the seasonal service linking Muscat and Zurich, which was initially launched in 2025, will return for the summer of 2026. The airline will operate flights three times a week, further strengthening Oman’s links with Switzerland. Increased Flight Frequency and Connectivity

As part of Oman Air’s efforts to meet growing demand, the airline is also increasing the frequency of some of its existing routes. The Muscat–London route will be a major beneficiary of this expansion, with up to 14 round-trip flights per week by summer 2026. This will provide travelers with greater flexibility when flying between the Middle East and Europe. Additionally, Salalah, a popular destination for both leisure travelers and business tourists, will see an increase in services to 35 flights per week during the peak periods, ensuring passengers have plenty of options to reach this stunning destination.

The expansion also extends to the domestic network, where flights within Oman will see boosted frequencies, catering to the increasing number of travelers wishing to explore the country’s natural beauty. By expanding its domestic reach, Oman Air aims to provide an easier way for locals and tourists to travel between Oman’s cities, fostering tourism within the country.

Fleet Modernization to Support Growth

Oman Air’s growth plans are backed by a significant fleet renewal program, which will see the airline welcoming new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners to its fleet. The latest aircraft deliveries, starting in December 2025, will support long-haul routes, particularly those to Europe, Asia, and Africa. These new aircraft will also help Oman Air reduce operating costs while increasing efficiency and minimizing its carbon footprint. The introduction of these advanced aircraft will allow the airline to meet growing passenger demand while maintaining its commitment to sustainability.
