Anna Dycheva-Smirnova appointed CEO at Reed Exhibitions U.K.

Anna Dycheva-Smirnova has been appointed CEO, at Reed Exhibitions U.K., in addition to her role as CEO of Russia, Turkey and the Middle East, effective from January 1, 2021. It was in 2008 that Dycheva-Smirnova joined Reed Exhibitions as Deputy General Manager of Reed Exhibitions Russia and became CEO of Reed Exhibitions Russia in 2017. In 2019, she was named CEO of Reed Exhibitions Turkey and Reed Exhibitions Middle East.

Dominic Feltham, Reed Exhibitions President of Europe, Middle East & Africa said in his statement that he is delighted that Anna has accepted the challenge and shared that he is looking forward to working alongside her in the new chapter for Reed Exhibitions. She mentioned that Anna’s international expertise, deep events experience and understanding of the high performance culture will be crucial to Reed Exhibitions as it rebuilds the U.K. business and thrive well into the future.

Dycheva-Smirnova commented that she is delighted to be joining such a passionate and knowledgeable team in the U.K. She stated that the industry underwent a tremendous shock right around the world in 2020 and said that her first job will be to support the teams in the U.K. and rebuild the business – integrating the digital expertise into future events as well as delivering compelling value for customers and driving the company back to growth.
