Art March 2024 in Hong Kong: Enjoy Free Tram Rides on March 16

To enhance participation in the “Art March” and its array of events, the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Bureau (CSTB) is introducing a special promotion: Free Tram Ride Day on March 16, 2024 (Saturday). This initiative allows everyone free access to all tram routes on Hong Kong Island, offering a unique opportunity to immerse in the island’s rich art and culture.

Launching “Art March” for the inaugural time this year, the CSTB aims to showcase a series of events that are either organized, funded, or supported by the Government under this new banner. The initiative is designed to provide memorable artistic experiences in Hong Kong every March, highlighting the city’s dynamic art scene. Furthermore, the government seeks to showcase the economic advantages of these large-scale arts and cultural events. Industries related to tourism, such as hospitality, retail, and food services, are encouraged to collaborate with the arts and culture sectors. This collaboration is aimed at enhancing the “Art March” brand, offering both residents and visitors a richer artistic exploration.

“Art March 2024” promises an extensive lineup of activities spanning arts and culture, pop culture, as well as television and film. The program includes art exhibitions, film screenings, a cultural summit, and a fashion show, catering to diverse interests. This year, the introduction of new event brands being hosted in Hong Kong for the first time promises to add even more color to the city’s already vibrant cultural tapestry.
