ASM Global has appointed Matthew Lazarus-Hall, a seasoned entertainment industry expert, as the Executive Vice President of Entertainment & Content for the group.

With over 25 years of experience in live entertainment, Mr. Lazarus-Hall brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. He is renowned for his dynamic leadership and has previously served as the founder and CEO of Square Circles Creative Solutions, a consultancy firm specializing in event strategy across touring, festivals, exhibitions, and sports.

Prior to joining ASM Global, Matthew held significant positions in the industry, including Senior Vice President, Asia at AEG, where he oversaw concerts, festivals, and sporting events across the Asia Pacific region. He also served as CEO of Chugg Entertainment for 13 years, during which time the company gained international recognition as one of the world’s top promoters.

Throughout his career, Matthew has collaborated with numerous renowned artists such as Sir Elton John, Robbie Williams, and Coldplay. His leadership roles at Ticketek, Australia’s largest ticketing agency, further demonstrate his expertise in managing major events like the Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games and the 2003 Rugby World Cup.

In his new capacity with ASM Global, Matthew will concentrate on supporting the strategic direction and development of entertainment and content across the company’s venues in Australia, Asia, and the MENA region. His initial focus will be on Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong, a groundbreaking project featuring a 50,000-seat domed stadium and a 10,000-seat indoor sports and entertainment arena, set to open in mid-2025.

Harvey Lister AM, Chairman and Chief Executive of ASM Global (APAC), expressed confidence in Matthew’s abilities, citing his extensive experience and track record in the entertainment industry as invaluable assets to the organization.
