Skytrans Airlines Partners with TP Aerospace to Boost Fleet Growth

Australia’s Skytrans Airlines has teamed up with TP Aerospace, awarding them the Land For Less (LFL) Program to support the airline’s expansion. This partnership will initially cover the airline’s first A319 aircraft and extend to all additional Airbus aircraft as they are added to Skytrans’ fleet in the years ahead.

A Strategic Leap in Skytrans’ Expansion Plans

The arrival of Skytrans’ first A319 aircraft marks a pivotal moment in the airline’s strategic vision to grow its fleet and enhance its Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance (ACMI) services in the Australian market. With this addition, Skytrans will rely on TP Aerospace’s expertise to manage aircraft components, ensuring smooth and reliable operations across Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region, a market where TP Aerospace continues to build a robust presence.

Support from TP Aerospace’s Melbourne and Brisbane Facilities

As part of the ongoing expansion plan, TP Aerospace will provide full-service support from its Melbourne and Brisbane MRO sites. TP Aerospace’s Melbourne facility, established in 2016, was followed by the opening of an additional site in Brisbane in 2023. These facilities will manage Skytrans’ growing fleet, including wheel and brake maintenance, as well as other essential services.

Skytrans Strengthens Position with Avia Solutions Group

Skytrans, an Australian passenger airline, is also part of the world’s largest ACMI provider, Avia Solutions Group. As the first Australian ACMI provider to join this global network, Skytrans strengthens the group’s footprint, which now includes a fleet of 221 aircraft worldwide. With its Australian Air Operator Certificate (AOC), Skytrans helps address the challenges of seasonality while reinforcing Avia Solutions Group’s presence in the aviation market.
