AVIAREPS Appointed as General Sales Agent by Surinam Airways in Nine European Markets

Surinam Airways appoints AVIAREPS as its agent in 9 European markets to boost sales and expand its global presence starting April 2024.

Starting in April 2024, Surinam Airways, Suriname’s national airline, has expanded its partnership with AVIAREPS by naming it the General Sales Agent across multiple European countries, including France, Germany, the UK, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, and Latvia. This expansion brings the total number of global markets in which AVIAREPS represents Surinam Airways to eleven. Known for its extensive expertise in representing various sectors like aviation and tourism, AVIAREPS will provide comprehensive support in sales, reservations, and ticketing to facilitate Surinam Airways’ expansion in these regions.

Founded in 1962, Surinam Airways serves as a bridge between Paramaribo, its home base, and numerous destinations across the Caribbean, South America, and Europe. The airline maintains regular flights between Paramaribo and Amsterdam and operates routes to several regional locations, including Aruba, Barbados, Brazil, Curacao, Guyana, and Miami, enhancing connectivity across Europe, the Caribbean, and South America.

With this renewed collaboration, AVIAREPS’ specialists in each of the nine newly appointed European markets will offer targeted sales strategies aimed at boosting Surinam Airways’ visibility and increasing ticket sales. This appointment reaffirms the strong, trust-based relationship between the two entities, continuing a partnership that previously included representation in the US, Canada, and Europe until 2021.
