When compared to the entire state, Ayodhya accounted for a significant portion of Uttar Pradesh’s tourism. The state welcomed a total of 33 crore visitors during this period, underscoring the city’s substantial contribution to the overall tourism influx.

Agra, famous worldwide for the iconic Taj Mahal, also maintained its status as a prime tourist destination. Lucknow, the state capital, also saw a substantial influx of tourists, with around 35 lakh people visiting the city. Shringverpur, an integral part of the Ramayana Circuit, is set for development in the near future.
