In a recent survey conducted by liquor-infused ice cream pralines company LiQ, Baileys emerges as the undisputed champion of the British festive tipple season, claiming the hearts of 47% of respondents as their preferred Christmas drink.
The study, encompassing the preferences of over 1,000 participants, positions Baileys above traditional choices like prosecco, mulled wine, and seasonal coffees or hot chocolates.
Notably, the survey unveils that not only is Baileys the preferred festive tipple libation, but over a quarter of respondents express a penchant for Baileys-infused cream as the ideal accompaniment to their Christmas pudding, ranking second only to the classic choice of custard.
LiQ, known for its inventive approach to ice cream experiences for adults, recently introduced Baileys ice cream pralines, marrying the rich flavors of Baileys with smooth vanilla ice cream enrobed in crisp Belgian milk chocolate. The survey findings align with Google data revealing a surge in Baileys recipe searches during the festive months, peaking at 12,100 searches last December. This trend signifies the enduring popularity of the creamy Irish cream drink among Brits, showcasing a 17% increase compared to December 2021.
