Salt Lake City International Airport,

Baylin Technologies Inc (“Baylin”) is excited to announce the successful completion of a two-month retrofit project at Salt Lake City International Airport by its subsidiary, Galtronics. After a competitive bidding process, Galtronics was selected over numerous other vendors for this significant undertaking.

Salt Lake City International Airport, accommodating over 25 million travelers annually, presents unique challenges in meeting its massive capacity and throughput requirements. Galtronics’ high-capacity panel antennas offer optimized radiation patterns, ensuring optimal range coverage with minimal interference, thereby effectively addressing this challenge.

Furthermore, Galtronics’ expertise has been recognized beyond North America, as evidenced by a recent selection by a UK integrator for an upgrade project at Heathrow Airport. This marks a notable milestone as the first non-North American airport to award Baylin with such a project, highlighting the global recognition of Galtronics’ Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) products for enhancing coverage and capacity.

“We operate in fiercely competitive markets. Seeing our products selected to improve the wireless capabilities for customers at marquee airports says a great deal about the quality of our technology. Even in a challenging environment for wireless capital expenditures, our strategy to further diversify our customers and revenue streams is paying off,” said Leighton Carroll, Baylin’s Chief Executive Officer.
