BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E), a premier worldwide meetings and events agency, has joined forces with the MPI UK & Ireland Chapter to support the Vanessa Cotton Scholarship. Through this partnership, UK students will have the chance to participate in an exclusive eighteen-month internship beginning in autumn 2024. This internship aims to offer invaluable experience in the dynamic meetings and events sector.

Established initially in 2011, The Vanessa Cotton Scholarship made a comeback in 2024. Its objective is to cultivate and empower the upcoming talent through practical training, mentorship, and access to diverse industry experts.

Our collaboration with BCD Meetings & Events will offer the winner of the scholarship a great opportunity to learn and thrive in a global event management agency.”
During the eighteen-month internship, the recipient will delve into various facets of the industry, collaborating with esteemed professionals from BCD M&E. This hands-on experience spans meetings management, venue search, accommodation and delegation services, and extends to involvement with The Collective, the agency specializing in event design. Furthermore, the internship promises a global outlook, as participants will actively contribute to the execution of international events, offering exposure to diverse destinations.
