As we come across the wedding season, Bruges in Belgium has grabbed the top spot as the best city for a mini-moon this year in Europe, with the ‘City of Love’ appreciated for its fairytale structures, dreamy restaurants and spectacular setting.
The research, carried on by Jackpot City Casino, took into account 100 of the most holidayed cities in the world, as stated by the UN World Tourism Organization. To find out the top cities for couples considering a mini-moon outing after their wedding, it studied the amount of romantic restaurants and hotels, the capacity of UNESCO world heritage sites in every city, LGBT openness along with noise pollution, to comprehend the cities that just marrieds should think through this year.
Bruges, where the Historic Center is a world heritage site, had the maximum proportion of romantic hotels, with half of all lodging named ‘romantic’ on TripAdvisor.
Besides its attractive backdrop, Paris, where majority of folks associate with its romantic appeal, only stood at 14th place, after Sydney, Madrid and Venice. Only 9% of restaurants are recognized as perfect for couples considering a peaceful place, and it was upset by its noise pollution score, as one of the uppermost in general for all cities.
