Brussels Airport launches summer season with direct destinations and new routes

This year, while Spring may linger, the summer season at Brussels Airport is set to kick off on schedule come March 31st, boasting an enhanced array of offerings that blend traditional sun-soaked destinations with exciting new routes. With a lineup of 178 direct destinations served by 64 airlines, including eight fresh additions spanning Europe and beyond, travelers can anticipate a wealth of options for their summer escapades.

Venturing beyond the familiar European terrain or opting for a classic city break, beachside family retreats, or international family reunions—all aspirations find fulfillment within Brussels Airport’s diverse summer portfolio. With an expanded roster of airlines, including six newcomers, the airport continues to broaden its connectivity, ensuring travelers find their ideal destinations.

In the realm of new services, this summer heralds the arrival of several notable airlines. Singapore Airlines embarks on its inaugural journey from Brussels Airport to Singapore on April 6th, marking the commencement of direct flights to Asia. Joining the fray, Juneyao Airlines and Hainan Airlines introduce routes to Shanghai, with daily flights promising seamless connectivity to this vibrant Chinese hub.

Further enriching the network, Cyprus Airways, Wideroe, Amelia, and Wizz Air make their debut at Brussels Airport, enhancing travel options across Europe and beyond. Brussels Airlines unveils two fresh destinations—Nairobi in Kenya and Krakow in Poland—expanding its already extensive network to 88 destinations, with a significant presence in Sub-Saharan Africa and North America.

In a testament to growing transatlantic connectivity, United Airlines increases its daily flights to Newark, while Air Canada and Air Transat bolster services to Toronto and Montreal, respectively. Meanwhile, Air Arabia extends its Moroccan footprint with new routes to Tetouan and Rabat, adding to its existing offerings.

Looking further afield, Brussels Airport’s intercontinental network encompasses 37 destinations this summer, spanning North America, Central America, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Gulf region, and Asia. With an array of choices tailored to diverse preferences, Brussels Airport stands ready to facilitate unforgettable summer journeys for all travelers.
