On February 10, the Cambodian and Chinese leaders vowed to further reinforce the important features of cooperation concerning trade, investment, tourism and finances, with high-ranking representatives inking major agreements.
Speaking during the inauguration of the Cambodia-China Business, Investment and Tourism Forum in Beijing, Hun Sen, the Cambodian Prime Minister said that the rock solid partnership, established by previous leaders and supported by their present equivalents, will stay forever. He added that the two countries will join hands to tackle every difficulty, irrespective of how tough that is.
Bilateral collaboration, through a set of mechanisms, has propelled general trade development between Cambodia and China annually, said the PM.
The Prime Minister listed the cooperative strategies for 2023-2025 expansion, a Fish and Rice Corridor, a shared doorway for trade, a model trade expansion passage to generate a multi-purpose monetary zone in Preah Sihanouk region, along with provision for Cambodia to take part completely in the China Export and Import Fair.
Hun Sen spoke about his expectations about the forum that is anticipated to encourage intensive Cambodian-Chinese determinations for following open policies and the Belt and Road Initiative, which is thought to encourage post pandemic financial recovery, and also fortify mutual trade, investment, tourism and financial relations.
