Radisson Hotel Group enters Cambodia with two new properties in Phnom Penh, marking a significant step in its Southeast Asian expansion.
The Radisson Hotel Group is set to mark its presence in Cambodia for the first time, following a significant partnership with the Prince Real Estate Group. This collaboration will bring two new properties to life in Phnom Penh, a city witnessing rapid growth.
The introduction of the Radisson RED Hotel Phnom Penh and Radisson Blu Hotel & Residences, Phnom Penh, is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. These two distinct brands, a chic Radisson RED and the more luxurious Radisson Blu Hotel & Residences, will be centrally located in the bustling city. Both establishments will be part of the Prince Happiness Plaza, a luxurious condo development nestled within a sophisticated mixed-use area featuring premium shopping, dining, and office spaces.
Cambodia, a nation on the rise in Southeast Asia, has caught the attention of Radisson Hotel Group as a pivotal location for its expansion strategy within the region. The country experienced a notable surge in international tourism in 2023, with visitor numbers leaping by 140% to reach 5.4 million, and forecasts suggest this figure will climb to seven million by 2025. Phnom Penh, as Cambodia’s economic powerhouse and largest city, is spearheading the nation’s economic surge, with an anticipated GDP growth of 6.0% in 2024. This backdrop presents a timely opportunity for Radisson Hotel Group to establish its footprint in this engaging market.

The project, which is situated near international embassies and major tourist landmarks like the Independence Monument, National Museum of Cambodia, and Royal Palace, is being developed by Prince Real Estate Group. The Radisson Blu Hotel & Residences Phnom Penh, with its 250 keys, aims to serve the needs of long-stay corporate guests, offering 160 luxurious guestrooms and serviced apartments, along with 90 branded residences that range from cozy 40sqm Deluxe Studio Residences to expansive 210sqm Three-Bedroom Residences, all boasting premium facilities and breathtaking views of the cityscape and river.
