Cape Town Tourism partners with We Are Victoria Falls

As Africa slowly opens its door to the travellers, research indicates that the ‘Ultimate African Adventure ‘from their international source markets has two or more cities in Africa. It makes complete sense then, to join world’s only two Natural Wonders on the continent to mark in the bucket list in one amazing adventure.

The Victoria Falls, the world’s greatest falling sheet of water and SA’s the single most famous landmark, Table Mountain, can anticipate a rise of number of local and international tourists after the declaration of a new city collaboration between recently introduced tourism community – We are Victoria Falls, and Cape Town Tourism.

The collaboration was declared by Mrs Barbara Murasiranwa-Hughes, We are Victoria Falls Board Chair and Leigh Dawber, CTT’s Chief Marketing Officer at the founding ceremony at the Three Monkeys Restaurant and Bar in Victoria Falls.

However, the connection between the two entities started in September 2022, when CTT collaborated with the World Bank to organize a group of Victoria Falls public and private sector stakeholders on a peer-to-peer exchange in Cape Town. The important purpose was to share the best practices of current destination management by CTT, a globally leading DMO with more than 40 years of experience, counseling on the way to arrange a successful organization and ecosystem that helps sustainable travel. Now, the partnership will mature into joint marketing initiatives.
