The expansion was kicked off on 20 November with the announcement of four new routes from Glasgow. Since then, EasyJet has confirmed additional routes from Bristol, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, London Southend, and London Stansted. The airline’s growth strategy is designed to meet increasing demand for both European city breaks and beach holidays, with a focus on destinations in the Mediterranean, Europe, and North Africa.
Bristol will see some exciting new destinations added to its summer schedule. One of the highlights is a new service to Sal in Cape Verde, which is becoming an increasingly popular choice for those looking for a sunny escape. Starting on 1 May 2026, EasyJet will operate flights to Sal three times a week from Bristol, joining its existing routes from London Gatwick and Manchester. In addition, Bristol will gain a twice-weekly flight to Bari in Italy from 18 April, followed by another twice-weekly service to Seville, Spain, starting on 2 May. Both routes will offer more Mediterranean options for travellers seeking warmth and culture during the summer months.

Additionally, from 24 June, the airline will operate a summer-only flight to Preveza in Greece, a beautiful destination ideal for those seeking a relaxing beach holiday on the western coast of the country.

In addition, the airline will offer a summer connection to Paphos in Cyprus, starting on 2 August, catering to those looking to enjoy the Mediterranean sun.

London Stansted will further solidify its role as a key hub for EasyJet with a new route to Paris Charles de Gaulle, beginning on 5 March 2026. This will provide passengers from the East of England with a direct connection to one of Europe’s busiest airports and a major hub for international travel.
In the northeast, Newcastle will see the introduction of flights to Tenerife, starting on 1 August 2026. This route will provide a much-needed direct link to the Canary Islands, offering Newcastle residents an easy option for a sunny holiday. This is part of EasyJet’s broader strategy to increase its presence in the region, with a new three-aircraft base set to open at Newcastle next spring, adding 20 routes to its operations in the area.
Glasgow will see the largest number of new routes in this expansion, further cementing the airport’s importance in EasyJet’s UK network. New flights to Lisbon will start on 29 March 2026, followed by services to Pisa, Italy, and Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, starting on 1 August. A further addition to Malta will launch on 4 August, providing passengers with greater access to both European and North African destinations.

These new packages are set to coincide with the upcoming peak travel season, offering affordable yet exciting options for holidaymakers.
With 16 new services set to launch across its UK network, EasyJet is poised to offer its passengers more choice and better connectivity than ever before.
