Today, Cathay Cargo Terminal and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) jointly announced their successful attainment of IATA Environmental Assessment (IEnvA) certification, marking a significant milestone as the first cargo handling companies in Asia to do so.
IEnvA, developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), stands as a comprehensive certification program. It rigorously evaluates the dedication of aviation stakeholders, encompassing airlines, airports, cargo-handling facilities, freight forwarders, and ramp handlers, in their ongoing efforts to enhance environmental and sustainability practices. Through compliance with globally recognized standards and industry-leading approaches, IEnvA ensures organizations prioritize environmental conservation while upholding operational excellence.
