ClarityGo, the proprietary booking tool from UK-based travel management company Clarity, has achieved a major milestone by securing WCAG 2.2 AA accreditation from the Digital Accessibility Centre. The accreditation ensures that the platform is accessible to users with a variety of disabilities, making travel booking more inclusive for all.
Launched in June 2024, after three years in development, ClarityGo underwent rigorous testing and technical compliance audits to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. These guidelines are designed to ensure digital content is accessible to users with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, physical, and cognitive impairments.
According to the Digital Accessibility Centre, ClarityGo was put through both a technical compliance audit and extensive end-to-end testing by users with a range of disabilities. This included individuals who are blind, have low vision, are dyslexic, or have color blindness, as well as those with mobility impairments, learning difficulties, hearing impairments, Asperger syndrome, and anxiety disorders.
The testing was performed in line with accessibility guidelines applicable to both websites and apps in the UK and the US, ensuring the platform’s broad compliance with international standards. These efforts ensure that ClarityGo meets the diverse needs of users and sets a new standard for accessibility in travel management tools.
Sue Chapman, executive director for product and commercial at Clarity, highlighted the importance of creating a tool that addresses the specific needs of their customers. “Ensuring our technology is accessible to every user has been a primary focus of our roadmap,” Chapman said. “This accreditation solidifies our vision and dedication to providing accessible technology.”
Since its launch, ClarityGo has significantly increased online adoption rates among clients. According to Clarity, online adoption rates surged from 70% to 96% after the introduction of the ClarityGo platform, demonstrating the tool’s effectiveness and appeal to a broader audience.

As digital platforms become essential for business operations, including travel management, ensuring digital accessibility is more important than ever. ClarityGo‘s achievement of WCAG 2.2 AA accreditation exemplifies the company’s commitment to creating an inclusive user experience for all. This move aligns with a growing trend toward more accessible and user-friendly technologies in the travel industry.
By adopting best practices in accessibility, Clarity is enhancing the user experience for all customers, ensuring that individuals with disabilities are not left behind in the digital transformation of the travel industry.
With this accessibility accreditation, Clarity plans to continue improving its platform, driven by its mission to provide cutting-edge, inclusive technology for the travel management sector. ClarityGo is expected to remain at the forefront of accessible travel solutions, empowering businesses to streamline travel bookings while ensuring equitable access for all users.
As more organizations look to adopt inclusive technologies, ClarityGo sets a standard for what is possible in creating a fully accessible and efficient travel management tool.
