- Mississippi Aquarium: On February 9, Gulfport’s Mississippi Aquarium launched the Wild Explorer Virtual Reality, offering four headsets for a captivating 360˚ 3D journey through various wildlife habitats. Choices include an Ocean Shark Dive and a Gorilla Trek through the jungle.
- New Coast Transit Authority (CTA) Gulfport Tram Bridge: Celebrated its opening on February 22, this 1,100-foot tramway and pedestrian bridge creates a safe passage from the CTA Gulfport Transit Spanning Highway 90 to connect the Center and Mississippi Aquarium with Jones Park, this facility caters to ADA-compliant pedestrian, bicycle, and tram trolley traffic.
- The Sound Amphitheater: An 8,000-seat state-of-the-art venue hosting national music acts, starting with KC & The Sunshine Band on April 12, combines natural beauty with exceptional music for a memorable experience.
