The Southern Railway has introduced special weekly train services between Mangaluru Junction and Thiruvananthapuram North to support the influx of devotees during the Sabarimala pilgrimage season. The initiative, effective from December 2025 to January 2026, will facilitate smoother and more convenient travel for those visiting the revered Sabarimala Temple in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district.
The Sabarimala pilgrimage season, which witnesses millions of devotees flocking to the Sabarimala Temple, is one of the largest and most sacred religious gatherings in India.
