After extensive development spanning over a year, Toleranca Marketing and Arctur unveiled an innovative sustainability rating tool for events, which has undergone rigorous testing in corporate pilot projects and at Conventa 2024 before its official launch.
This revolutionary tool is one of the first in the industry to integrate a state-of-the-art carbon footprint calculator with precise sustainability criteria, a certification system, and external assessment in line with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
The introduction of this tool marks a significant advancement in the field of event sustainability certification, drawing commendation from international event organizers and experts for its user experience, simplicity, technological sophistication, and comprehensive approach. A distinguishing feature of the Planet Positive Event platform is its regenerative criteria, which assess the positive impact of events beyond just their carbon footprint, facilitating a shift towards sustainable event planning.
With the enforcement of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the ESRS Standards since January 1, 2024, over 50,000 companies are now required to produce sustainability reports. Event organizers are tasked with supplying these companies with precise data, identifying value chains, and integrating this information into comprehensive sustainability reports.
