Ccruise tourism industry of Croatia continues to show strong growth, with 505 foreign cruise ships sailing along the Adriatic coast in the first half of the year. That’s a 9.1% improvement over the same period in 2024, indicating the industry’s resilience and the nation’s popularity as an attractive cruise destination for overseas cruise companies.

Based on statistics from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS), these cruise ships transported 692,000 passengers, up 3% year-on-year. August Marks the Peak of the Season

The month of August proved to be the busiest for Croatia’s cruise industry, with a remarkable 128 cruise ships arriving at various ports, reflecting a 21% increase over the previous year. These ships brought 175,600 passengers, a surge of 11.6% compared to August 2024. This surge in arrivals made August the strongest month for the Croatian cruise sector in 2025, just ahead of July, which also saw strong performance.
