Cruise Holidays Simplified: Azamara Introduces Pre‑Boarding Restaurant and Spa Reservations, What You Need To Know

Published on November 27, 2025

Azamara enhances the guest experience by offering pre-cruise reservations for dining and spa services.

Azamara Cruises is launching a significant enhancement to its guest experience with the introduction of pre-cruise reservations for specialty dining and spa treatments. Starting December 1, 2025, guests will no longer have to wait until boarding to secure their dining and wellness experiences onboard. This new initiative provides convenience and greater flexibility for guests as they plan their cruise holidays in advance.

This innovative change will allow all guests to book specialty dining at Azamara’s exclusive restaurants, Prime C, Aqualina, and the Chef’s Table Experience, up to 140 days before departure. Guests who stay in suites or have earned Discoverer status or higher within the Azamara Circle loyalty program can make these reservations 150 days prior to embarkation. Spa reservations, on the other hand, can be secured up to a full year in advance and will remain open for booking until one week before sailing. Spa discounts for members of the Azamara Circle loyalty program will be applied automatically at checkout.

These pre-cruise bookings aim to offer travellers a more streamlined and relaxed planning process, ensuring they don’t miss out on the most sought-after experiences while onboard.

Pre-Cruise Booking Timeline and Benefits for Guests

For dining reservations, guests can now plan ahead and choose from some of Azamara’s finest dining options, including the classic Prime C steakhouse, the Italian-inspired Aqualina restaurant, and the gourmet Chef’s Table experience. With an advanced booking window of up to 150 days, guests can secure their spots early, ensuring they can experience their preferred dining locations without the stress of last-minute availability.

The new system also significantly benefits suite guests and Azamara Circle loyalty members, giving them priority access to dining reservations. For all guests, the reservation window will be open up to 140 days in advance, giving them ample time to plan their meals on board.

In addition to dining, spa reservations can now be made up to 12 months ahead of sailing. This marks a significant improvement for travellers looking to book treatments such as massages, facials, or specialised wellness services. The extended spa booking period provides more opportunities to secure an appointment for guests who want to relax and unwind before embarking on their journey.

The new spa reservation system will be accessible through travel advisors or Azamara’s call centre. In 2026, the cruise line plans to roll out online spa bookings via the Azamara website, allowing greater flexibility and ease of access for guests looking to indulge in a rejuvenating experience.

Streamlining the Travel Experience for Loyal Guests

Azamara’s pre-cruise booking initiative reflects the brand’s commitment to improving the guest experience based on feedback from its loyal customer base. Many travellers expressed a desire for more flexibility and control over their cruise experiences, particularly when it came to securing high-demand services like dining and spa treatments. Azamara responded by making these offerings available well before departure, enabling guests to plan their holidays with confidence.

The program not only benefits the individual traveller but also enhances the role of travel advisors, who will be able to assist clients in securing reservations and ensuring a more seamless travel experience. Advisors can now offer a more personalised level of service, helping clients plan every aspect of their cruise, from dining to wellness.

A New Era of Cruise Planning

With this new pre-cruise reservation option, Azamara is taking a significant step toward offering a more tailored and personalised cruising experience. By giving guests the ability to reserve their preferred dining venues and spa treatments long before embarking on their cruise, Azamara helps to alleviate stress and enhance the overall vacation experience.

This pre-booking system is expected to be particularly beneficial for loyalty members and those travelling in suites, who will enjoy priority access and the ability to secure the best experiences with ease. Furthermore, by extending the booking period for spa treatments to 12 months, Azamara is catering to guests who seek a more luxurious, stress-free journey.

A More Flexible and Relaxed Travel Experience

Azamara’s introduction of pre-cruise dining and spa reservations transforms the way guests can plan their cruises. By allowing travellers to secure high-demand services ahead of time, the cruise line is delivering a more flexible, enjoyable, and tailored travel experience. This development aligns with Azamara’s mission to provide seamless, luxurious cruises with a focus on exceptional service and guest satisfaction.

For those planning their 2026 Azamara cruise, this new system ensures that dining and spa treatments are no longer a last-minute decision, offering peace of mind and enhancing the overall experience. This development marks another milestone in Azamara’s ongoing effort to offer guests a more personalised, stress-free cruise holiday.
