Crystal Lagoons

Crystal Lagoons is expanding its presence across Europe’s renowned cities. The firm has already made its mark in Prague, Warsaw, Bucharest, and Budapest, and is now setting its sights on introducing its beach life experience to Rome, Milan, Toulouse, Seville, and two more cities in Romania. These locales are set to enjoy the benefits of the company’s Public Access Lagoons™ projects, also known as PAL™.

This global innovation leader, established by scientist Fernando Fischmann, is venturing into Italy and France while enhancing its footprint in Spain and Romania. It boasts successful ventures in these regions, including Santa Rosalía, Alcazaba Lagoon, and Central District Lagoon City.

Crystal Lagoons® is recognized for its sustainable technology, a key factor in securing a new deal with Forty Management, a renowned Romanian real estate developer. This collaboration, which spans the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, and Hungary, emphasizes sustainability.

The roll-out of PAL™ projects in iconic tourist destinations like Rome and Milan underscores their contribution to enhancing urban life by offering a slice of paradise close to home. At the heart of these projects will be a vast, clear lagoon, perfect for swimming and various water activities, bordered by pristine sandy beaches accessible for a fee. These developments will also feature residential spaces, hotels, shopping venues, eateries, and a mix of premium commercial and leisure facilities.

Lucian Azoiței, CEO of Forty Management, expressed excitement over the partnership with Crystal Lagoons, aiming to enrich European cities with beachfront leisure while focusing on sustainable development.

Jean Pierre Juanchich, Crystal Lagoons’ Global Business Director, highlighted the company’s innovative technology as the driving force behind these projects’ success. This approach has won over forward-thinking developers like Forty Management, leading to the replication of this successful model in even the most unexpected cities, such as Rome, Milan, and Toulouse.
