Curaçao shouts “Bon Biní” (Welcome) to the world with all COVID testing requirements elimination

The Dutch Caribbean Island of has announced that starting March 10th COVID-19 testing will no longer be a requirement of entry into the destination.


Regardless of country of origin or vaccination status, travellers worldwide are welcomed on-island.

In addition to the change in entry requirements, restrictions surrounding nightly curfew, mask mandates and proof of vaccination for large-scale events have all been removed.


The relaxed measures apply to the destination, though hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, and tour operators may enforce protocols at their discretion.


Subsequently, it is recommended that travellers verify specific requirements or protocols directly with each venue.

Hugo Clarinda, Deputy Chief Executive Office of the Curaçao Tourist Board states that globally, they are seeing a shift from pandemic to endemic, and while the safety of our travellers will always be a top priority, they are thrilled to have adapted our entry requirements and measures to align with the evolving travel environment.




Curaçao has seen a surge of development with new and renovated hotels ranging from globally branded resorts to independently owned boutique properties, in addition to many new restaurants and cocktail lounges, art galleries, workshops, tours and transportation options – and the island is ready and eager to continue to welcome North American travellers to experience these firsthand.

Curaçao will continue to require travellers to complete its standard process for entry via website as follows:

Complete the digital immigration card online before departure.

Digitally fill out the Passenger Locator Card (PLC) form 48 hours prior to departure.

Once the PLC is received via email, bring either digital or printed copy with you.
