Cuyahoga Valley National Park Conservancy welcomes guests to celebrate and support trails with Elevation and Topography

The Cuyahoga Valley National Park Conservancy invites guests to two exclusive events, Elevation and Topography, set against the picturesque backdrop of Indigo Lake off Riverview Road. These events, scheduled for June 21 and June 22, will offer unforgettable evenings of celebration in the heart of the park. The funds raised will benefit the Trails Now Fund, aimed at enhancing and maintaining the park’s extensive network of over 125 miles of trails, along with improving visitor amenities and developing new trailheads. Since their inception over a decade ago, Topography and Elevation have successfully generated close to $1.4 million to support these trails.

“Our signature fundraisers, Elevation and Topography, are each a one-of-a-kind experience for people to come together and support the trails we love in our national park,” said Dan Blakemore, vice president of philanthropy, for the Conservancy for CVNP. “We look forward to seeing you at these memorable events to enjoy time with good friends, great food, scenic views of Indigo Lake, live music, and campfires under the stars.”

Elevation offers an enchanting summer evening starting with a leisurely hike accompanied by trail mix, leading guests to Indigo Lake. Attendees will be greeted by the vibrant sounds of a steel drum band, engaging activities in the meadow, and a laid-back dinner served from food trucks complemented by a selection of beer and wine. The night will unfold with dancing under the stars to the tunes of Abby Normal and the Detroit Lean, and the warmth of s’mores by the campfire.

Topography begins with a scenic hike from Howe Meadow, where guests will be welcomed with a cocktail and the melodies of live music. The path culminates at Indigo Lake, setting the stage for an unparalleled dining experience with exquisite hors d’oeuvres, special wine pairings, and sweet treats by the campfire to conclude the night. Spice Catering Co. caters this exceptional event.

Both events are slated for 6:30pm to 11:00pm, with Elevation on Friday, June 21, 2024, and Topography on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Elevation tickets are priced at $100 for members and $160 for non-members ($25 and $85 tax deductible, respectively), while Topography tickets are $350 per person ($130 tax deductible).
