Odisha’s Dagara beach located in the Balasore district is popular for its huge area in terms of sand, long casuarina forest and red crabs. This desirable destination is known for the nature lovers and needs the support of the tourism department like other district beaches i.e. Chandipur, and Talsari.
Among the picnickers, the Dagara beach is the most favorite. The visitors are astonished to observe that the red crabs swarming on the beach.
With the altercation of tides, this spiritual beach changes its face and makes the place different from others in Odisha, said Santanu Ghosh, a visitor from West Bengal.
The beach spreads from Kankadapal, the Kirtania mouth, to Udaypur-Talsari. It is around 13 kms from Baliapal block headquarters.
As visitors from all over the country and even from outside visit the beach, its development will make sure the financial development of the area as well as the people, locals emphasized.
The locals insist good roads, mend beach lights, along with toilets, and provide safe drinking water facilities for tourists.

As a family of 12 members .. we are looking forward to visit this beach very soon . Honestly this month itself (dec2022) all I need to know is weather the resorts have swimming pools ? As that’s a must for us , of course dining n hygienic place … if possible do let us know about the place where we can get the same .
