Damage to Fiji Airways Airbus A350: Limited Impact on Flight Schedule

Fiji Airways, the national carrier of Fiji, has confirmed that there have been no additional flight disruptions following damage to one of its Airbus A350-900s during a ground incident at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday evening (FJT). With the exception of flight FJ811 on March 27, 2024 (PDT), all other services are running as usual, utilizing existing aircraft to cover flights that were scheduled for the A350.

The damaged aircraft is currently undergoing repairs, and Fiji Airways is actively participating in an investigation conducted by Los Angeles World Airports, the entity that owns and manages Los Angeles International Airport. This collaborative effort aims to identify the causes of the incident and prevent similar occurrences in the future.
