Deepavali Celebration Gets a Boost as Malaysia Airlines Teams Up with Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Malaysia Airlines, in collaboration with Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur managed by Banyan Tree, is set to enhance the Deepavali celebration with a specially curated menu. This offering will be available from November 11 to 13, 2023, at all of the airline’s Golden Lounges in KLIA Terminal 1.

Visitors staying at the Golden Lounge Satellite, Golden Lounge Regional, and Golden Lounge Domestic will be able to savor a specially designed menu created by Chef Jordan Mah, the chef de cuisine of The Courtyard, one of the hotel’s restaurants. This menu promises to be an incredible culinary blend of culture and cuisine.

The curated Deepavali menu at Malaysia Airlines’ Golden Lounges in KLIA Terminal 1 will showcase a variety of delightful entrees, including Raita (Indian Cucumber Salad with yoghurt and mint), Zafrani Pulao with Chicken Butter Masala, and Aloo Gobi. The main course will feature Madras Fish Curry, Tandoori Chicken, and Paneer Tikka Masala. To conclude the feast, passengers can enjoy tempting desserts like Indian Rice Kheer (Rice Pudding) and Sabudana Kheer (Indian Sago).

Alongside its premium services and access to the esteemed Golden Lounges, Malaysia Airlines offers passengers and frequent flyer members in Business Class, Enrich Platinum, First Class on codeshare flights (Malaysia Airlines operated flights), oneworld First Class, and oneworld Emerald the opportunity to savour signature meals while taking in the scenic views from the lounges prior to departure.
