Delhi Tourism division to organize bougainvillea flower show

From April 14, the Delhi Tourism division will hold its first ever three-day bougainvillea flower display at the Garden of Five Senses in Saket.

Various types of bougainvillea flowers would be displayedthroughout the show, said the tourism department. They said that they organizenumerous fairs and fiestas to encourage tourism in the capital of India.

The Delhi tourism branch will arrangethis special flower display from April 14 to 16. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA), NDMC, MCD, Central Public Works Department (CPWD), NetajiSubhash University, The University of Delhi and Delhi PWD are among the illustrious names to take part in this bougainvillea flower spectacle.

Bougainvillea is a humid tufted flowering creeper, which can most frequently be seen in gardens, hedges and walls among others. Its flowers blossomcopiouslyall through summer, even thoughinperfectenvironments, it can bloom all through the year, said the tourism department.
