Delta Airlines 717 nose gear collapses after landing at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.

The flight made an emergency landing in North Carolina’s Charlotte Douglas International Airport and hit the runway on its underside.

Reports suggest the flight didn’t have its nose gear fully extended too.

Without its landing gear properly deployed the Boeing 717 aircraft with 96 passengers onboard made a turbulent landing on Wednesday. No injuries have been reported.

According to Delta, two pilots, three flight attendants and 96 passengers were evacuated safely.

A passenger video capturing the ordeal of his fellow passengers silently and fearfully holding onto their seats has gone viral. The video shows nervous passengers bracing for impact.
