Denver International Airport (DEN) is inviting applications for three positions on its Community Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC, an ad hoc committee dedicated to realizing DEN’s commitment to excellence in service and public support, encourages representatives from any metro area county to apply. However, the airport is specifically seeking individuals from Douglas and Jefferson counties to fill two of the available positions.
The CAC convenes at DEN four times a year and comprises community members representing each county in the Denver metro and Boulder market areas. The ideal representatives should embody diversity across various dimensions, including race, ethnicity, gender identity, national origin, age, ability, religion, sexual orientation, experience, and perspectives on travel, customer experience, business, construction, environmental transportation, and tourism.
Tasked with providing valuable insight, guidance, and advice, the CAC plays a crucial role in advancing DEN’s global reach, enhancing customer experience, and solidifying its reputation as an aviation leader, particularly as the airport prepares for an anticipated 100 million annual passengers in approximately 10 years.
Applicants should meet general qualifications, including being a user of DEN, a Colorado resident for at least five years, active in their community (excluding elected officials), and not currently employed at DEN or an airport-related business.
