DENVER , Pikes Peak

Beginning April 7, 2024, Denver International Airport (DEN) will shutter a significant portion of the Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot for essential renovations and maintenance, affecting over 4,500 parking spaces across Sections 3 and 4. Consequently, shuttle shelter locations within these sections will also be impacted, while those in Sections 1 and 2 will remain operational.

Approximately 4,500 spaces on the northern section of the lot will remain accessible. Long’s Peak, starting April 1, will resume regular operations, accommodating parkers daily from 3 a.m. to 12 a.m., with shuttle services available for returning passengers round the clock.

In the event both Pikes Peak and Long’s Peak lots reach full capacity, travelers are advised to utilize alternative parking options such as the East Economy, West Economy, East Garage, West Garage, and 61st and Peña lots. Real-time parking availability updates are accessible here.

Throughout the closure period, DEN will undertake comprehensive renovations, including reconstructing shelter islands and curbs, installing new snow storage pads, updating drainage systems, and repaving and restriping the lot. These enhancements are geared towards ensuring ADA compliance within DEN facilities.

The lot is anticipated to resume operations in September of this year upon completion of the renovation works.

Vehicles left within the work zones will be relocated to a designated vehicle depository within the lot. Passengers requiring assistance in retrieving their vehicles should contact (303) 342-4650 for further instructions.
