Deputy Commissioner Formulating Plans in his District To Improve Eco-Tourism

Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar(DC Baramulla), in his attempt to encourage eco-tourism in the district, has held a meeting discussion which consists of concerned officers at office, as an event to discuss and come up with various methods to encourage and advance initiatives on tourism, while focusing on the new spots across the district that are now labelled as spots for tourist attractions.

While the aforementioned agenda was being discussed, several other innovative strategies were being brought up in the meeting, to identify hidden places in the district which might serve as valuable sites as tourist spots.

Rajpura Rampura,Parihaspora, Yambarzalbari,MundDajiRafiabad were some of the places which were being highlighted during the scheduled meeting.

Realizing the immense beneficial impact tourism can have on this district, Dr. Sehrish has stated that since the district is gifted with stunning scenic beauty with equally beautiful cultural richness, therefore, under proper care and attention these places will thrive as popular tourist spots and will make a name for themselves in the map of popular tourist places.

She also added that apart from giving rise to new economic pathways for the tourism industry, the District Administration is also looking forward to provide the required resources and support.
