Digitrips, the company behind the French B2B travel platforms MisterFly and HResa, has recently introduced an ‘eco-certified accommodation’ filter to its flight booking engine. This addition, now accessible to B2B2C partners through Digitrips’ hotel and dynamic package booking engines, empowers travelers with the ability to make environmentally responsible travel decisions.

By facilitating the selection of sustainable hotels, Digitrips is taking significant strides toward promoting responsible tourism practices.

The newly implemented feature provides customers the option to filter their accommodation searches to include only eco-certified hotels in almost 1,500 destinations worldwide. This initiative, grounded in certifications approved by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, underscores Digitrips’ commitment to sustainability in the travel industry.

Since the introduction of this filter, eco-certified accommodations have witnessed an average booking increase of 9%, demonstrating a growing consumer preference for sustainable travel options.

Despite only 1% of Digitrips’ 1.2 million property listings currently bearing the eco-certified label, the feature has quickly become a popular choice among users, indicating a positive trend towards environmental awareness in travel.
