Today, AirDNA, a premier provider of data and analytics for the short-term rental (STR) market, unveiled its 2024 Best Places to Invest report, a key resource highlighting the top U.S. locations for STR investments this year. The report reveals a mix of renowned and up-and-coming destinations, from beach retreats and historical locales to areas rich in cultural offerings, appealing to a wide range of travel preferences. Notable mentions include Ellsworth, Maine; Logan, Ohio; and Fairbanks, Alaska, which remain on the list, alongside a strong presence from Florida with seven spots in the top 25.
AirDNA has enhanced its platform to better serve investors, introducing functionalities that allow users to filter and sort based on important factors. Despite a downturn in occupancy and revenue per available room (RevPAR) in the U.S. STR market in 2023, AirDNA’s 2024 Outlook predicts a stabilization in occupancy rates and a modest increase in RevPAR.
