High Seas, a premier cannabis boutique situated at 1921 Harbor Blvd in Costa Mesa, joyfully unveils its grand opening today. This unique boutique aims to revolutionize the cannabis shopping experience in Southern California by eliminating common barriers such as lack of knowledge, intimidation, or unclear terminology, thus empowering customers to embrace cannabis for lifestyle enhancement and wellness.

Upon stepping into this Orange County gem, patrons embark on a sensory voyage engaging touch, taste, sight, hearing, and smell. The expansive 1200-square-foot lobby, softly illuminated, warmly welcomes guests with complimentary kombucha, water, and coffee for a delightful visit. A virtual guide extends a friendly greeting, encouraging exploration of the boutique, starting with an array of showcased cannabis brands. Guests are then escorted by their dedicated host and budtender, inviting them to indulge their curiosity with products readily available for sampling—each designed to be experienced through smell and touch, providing a preview of the product’s essence.

The 2500-square-foot shopping lounge unfolds into a captivating space adorned with mesmerizing marine life showcased in aquariums. Here, over 120 meticulously curated craft cannabis brands await, offering a diverse array of products. The tranquil ambiance is further enhanced by soothing fragrances and melodic tunes, creating an atmosphere of serene luxury for an unparalleled shopping experience.

Michael Moussalli, co-founder of High Seas, said, “Many shoppers in the Orange County and Costa Mesa communities are curious about the wellness and lifestyle benefits of cannabis. We have gone above and beyond to create a new standard for exploring and experiencing cannabis shopping in SoCal.”

Rachel Xin, co-founder of High Seas, added, “The entire boutique is designed to welcome guests by engaging their senses and their imaginations. It’s a dispensary that consumers must come and see. We’re focused on offering bespoke recommendations and education based on lifestyle and experience, from micro-dosing edibles to uplifting cannabis beverages or the ritual of premium flower; we have considered the guest’s every need with the experience and product lineup.”

High Seas budtenders have undergone comprehensive training to grasp the nuances of cannabinoids, various cannabis formats, and strains, along with their respective effects and benefits. This ensures that they can offer informative guidance to both novice and seasoned consumers. At High Seas, navigating through product options is straightforward and hassle-free.

Putting consumer education at the forefront, High Seas will soon organize a series of educational pop-up events in collaboration with renowned brands. These events will offer invaluable opportunities for consumers to enhance their knowledge about cannabis and its associated products. Moreover, High Seas remains committed to Costa Mesa and its neighboring communities by continuing its successful beach clean-up initiatives, which were launched last summer. These endeavors underscore the company’s dedication to environmental conservation and community welfare.

Although originally slated to open in September 2023, High Seas encountered numerous obstacles in the preceding months. Their journey to opening was marked by unwarranted permit delays and unfounded accusations of illegal activities, stemming from a systemic, morally motivated campaign led by certain municipal operators with a documented bias against vices. These operators have a history of targeting legally operating businesses, including lingerie stores and day spas, with baseless allegations of misconduct in Costa Mesa and other California municipalities. Thankfully, the allegations against High Seas were debunked, allowing the upscale cannabis boutique to finally open its doors. Through sheer determination and resilience, the co-founders have triumphed and are eager to provide the community with a premium cannabis retail experience.

Xin added, “We weathered the storm, and now we’re finally ready to enjoy the boutique alongside Southern California’s most discerning cannabis seekers. Despite the challenges, we remain committed to offering the best dispensary experience in Orange County.”
