BWH® Hotels, the global hospitality group representing three renowned hotel companies — WorldHotels™, Best Western® Hotels & Resorts and SureStay® Hotels — has announced the continued international growth of Aiden, its modern, design-focused boutique hotel brand.
The expansion highlights the increasing demand for Aiden’s adaptable development approach, contemporary design concept and locally influenced guest experiences. The brand continues to attract both travellers seeking unique accommodation options and hotel owners looking to benefit from the strength, expertise and global network of one of the world’s established hospitality organisations.
With new properties opening across the Asia-Pacific region, North America and Europe, Aiden is strengthening its presence in key markets while offering guests the added advantage of access to the award-winning Best Western Rewards® loyalty programme. The brand’s growth reflects its ability to combine distinctive lifestyle-focused stays with the operational support, technology and loyalty benefits of a major global hotel group.
“Travelers today aren’t looking for another hotel that feels exactly like the last one. They want places with personality, a sense of discovery and a connection to the destination. That’s exactly what Aiden delivers,” said Brad LeBlanc, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at BWH Hotels. “Every hotel has its own story and creative expression, while still benefiting from the global scale, support and reach of our portfolio. It’s a combination that’s resonating strongly with both guests and developers.”

Each new property reflects the brand’s focus on creating stays that connect travellers with the culture, creativity and identity of their surroundings.
Aiden by Best Western Velbert (January 2026): The opening marked another step in Aiden’s European expansion, introducing the brand’s contemporary lifestyle concept to Germany. The property embraces the character of its local community through thoughtful design elements and storytelling inspired by the destination, offering guests a stay experience that feels connected to the surrounding neighbourhood.
Aiden Surawong Bangkok (May 2026): Aiden introduced its design-led hospitality concept to Thailand with a 77-room property in Bangkok. Inspired by the city’s creative atmosphere and vibrant urban culture, the hotel caters to modern travellers and digital nomads looking for a stylish stay experience that blends contemporary comfort with authentic local influences.
Aiden by Best Western Sacramento Downtown (May 2026): The brand expanded further across North America with a property reflecting Sacramento’s creative spirit and cultural identity. The hotel incorporates design features influenced by the city’s artistic community, highlighting the destination’s unique personality while delivering Aiden’s signature lifestyle-focused guest experience.
Aiden by Best Western Kansas City Downtown (June 2026): This newly launched hotel brings Aiden’s distinctive approach to the Midwest, drawing inspiration from Kansas City’s renowned food culture, creativity and energetic atmosphere. The property showcases locally influenced interiors designed to celebrate the city’s character while providing a modern hospitality experience.
Future Growth Markets Strengthening Aiden’s Global Presence
Aiden’s expansion strategy continues to focus on destinations where travellers increasingly seek hotels that offer more than accommodation. Upcoming openings across North America will introduce new properties designed around local culture, creative communities and unique guest experiences.
Aiden Denver (Fall 2026): Located near Denver’s creative RiNo district, the upcoming property will highlight the neighbourhood’s artistic energy through locally inspired design and community connections. A key feature will be Rooftop Social, a lively rooftop venue offering elevated dining, beverages and panoramic city views, creating a social destination for both guests and local visitors.
Aiden Tempe (Fall 2026): The Tempe property will introduce a refreshed lifestyle experience with an upgraded lobby, redesigned rooftop space and a new dining concept. Featuring Burnt Flour, a food-and-beverage venue focused on wood-fired pizza and freshly prepared dough, the hotel aims to become a vibrant meeting point reflecting the creativity and energy of the Arizona State University neighbourhood.
Aiden Toronto Airport (Fall 2026): The opening will represent Aiden’s first entry into Canada and will transform the traditional airport hotel concept through a boutique lifestyle approach. The 145-room property will feature a dramatic skylit atrium restaurant, a jazz-inspired cocktail lounge and carefully designed spaces for business and leisure travellers. The hotel also demonstrates adaptive reuse by converting a former office building into a contemporary hospitality destination.
Aiden Pullman (Summer 2027): Set above Pullman with views of the Palouse hills, this upcoming hotel will combine the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest with convenient access to Washington State University and downtown attractions. Guests will have easy access to regional dining, golf courses, craft breweries and outdoor experiences while enjoying a comfortable base designed around the destination.
Expanding the “Art Welcomes You In” Creative Design Initiative
Aiden is also continuing to develop its “Art Welcomes You In” programme as a central part of its neighbourhood-focused design strategy. The initiative began at Aiden by Best Western Sacramento Downtown with a large-scale 55-foot mural created by a Northern California artist, establishing a new approach to integrating local creativity into hotel environments.
The programme connects local artists with Aiden design teams to create permanent installations that represent the history, culture and artistic identity of each destination. Rather than using generic artwork, the initiative focuses on creating meaningful pieces that reflect the communities where Aiden hotels operate.
The next phase of the programme will expand to Aiden Denver, where commissioned artists will create works inspired by the RiNo district’s creative landscape and neighbourhood character. Through these projects, Aiden continues to strengthen its commitment to design-led hospitality that celebrates local stories while delivering memorable experiences for modern travellers.
