Donald Trump’s doctor assures that the President has tested negative for corona virus

Donald Trump’s doctor said that the President had tested negative for corona virus on consecutive days just hours before the US president returned to the campaign trail with a public meeting in Florida. However, the President’s physician cited results from a less reliable hurried test.


Texas reported its minimum one-day increase in corona virus deaths in just over four months on Monday. The number of patients currently hospitalized with the virus hit its highest since early September.


Boris Johnson faced a Conservative criticism on Tuesday after Liverpool became the first region in England to agree to stringent new lockdown restrictions under a new three-tier Covid-19 vigilance system.


England’s chief medical officer opined that the Covid-19 restrictions set out on Monday for “very high” risk areas will not be adequate by themselves to “get on top of” the virus in the worst affected regions.


Malaysia is expected to stiffen movement controls in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya — the nearby city home to the country’s government — along with the states of Sabah and Selangor as the country witnesses a new surge in corona virus infections.


Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is aiming to invest around $10bn into its failing economy, with proposals to put money into the hands of civil servants, boost capital expenditure and boost finances of cash-strapped state governments.
