Dubai grabbed the top spot as world’s best FDI destination

In 2021, the emirate drew around Dh6.4 billion in FDI over 30 projects of different types, ranking the territory number one in FDI capital, projects, and in terms of tourism job generation last year, as per The Financial Times’ FDI Markets data, one of the famous names in global data sources on crossborder greenfield FDI investments.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council in Twitter said that the emirate is all set to make the environment better which will be favorable for investment and businesses. Credit goes to the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

He stated that Dubai is fast coming up as the first destination for tourism’s foreign direct investment that shows investor’s rising confidence in the emirate and also improves its position as the best place for investment and trade in the world.

Sheikh Hamdan said that they will continue with their initiations to consolidate the position of Dubai as a pivotal centre in the world for drawing investments and a key driver of the world economy, by offering them with lucrative and highly competitive environment for investment.

The Dubai Crown Prince also mentioned that the powerful infrastructure of emirate along with business-friendly rules and regulations, followed by flexible regulatory environment would help the desert city to occupy the front position of the FDI destinations of the world.
