Dubai is all set to launch the Palm Fountain on October 22, likely to be considered as the world’s largest fountain. Nakheel, the master developer behind the Palm Jumeirah, has already unveiled its latest attraction. The development is also likely to attract interest from the Guinness World Records.

The dancing fountain has been placed at one of Dubai’s posh lifestyle and dining destination, Pointe. The landmark will also be the only multicoloured fountain in Dubai and celebrate the “resurgence and ambition to aim for the sky” of the emirate. The fountain is spread over 15,000 sq. ft. of sea water and shoot up to a height of 105 metres. It will also be adorned with more than 3,000 LED lights.

Ahmed Al Khaja, Chief Executive, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, said in a statement that the new attraction will be another addition to list of famed landmarks in Dubai. He mentioned that it is going to be a big draw among both residents and visitors. The fountain will have 20 bespoke shows and five different shows that scheduled to run daily from sunset to midnight (19:00-00:00). Meanwhile, a wide range of popular songs will be played during the shows. Each show will last for three minutes and will play every half hour.
