DUCO France 2023: successful third edition of boutique luxury hospitality summit

From November 6th to 10th, 2023, the DUCO Travel Summit orchestrated a four-day extravaganza in carefully selected venues across Paris. The event brought together top-tier French hôteliers, hospitality service providers, and luxury travel professionals from major English-speaking markets. Themed “Voyages Extraordinaires,” inspired by Jules Verne’s novels, the summit positioned high-end hospitality not just as a destination but as an extraordinary journey that elevates travel to another level.

Carolina Perez, the founder of DUCO, expressed pride in the third edition, stating, “What an extraordinary voyage we have been on this week for the third year of DUCO France.” She highlighted the importance of movement and connections made during the summit, emphasizing the collaboration between the world’s premier travel agents, France’s leading hoteliers, and service providers.

DUCO France 2023 brought together 210 brands representing the finest French hospitality suppliers and 186 frontline travel advisors and influencer travel agents from English-speaking markets. Buyers from the United States constituted 72%, followed by Europe (14%), Latin America (5%), Canada (3%), Australia (3%), and other destinations (3%).

The summit featured exceptional venues in the Parisian luxury hospitality scene, including Lutetia Paris, Maison des Polytechniciens, Yachts de Paris Quay Lounge, and Printemps Haussmann. Each brand exhibitor organized a total of 54 daily 15-minute appointments at the heart of DUCO France.

Lunches during the summit took place at prestigious locations such as Bulgari Hotel Paris, CoCo Paris, Hôtel Barrière Fouquet’s Paris, La Réserve Paris – Hotel and Spa, Maison des Polytechniciens, Prince de Galles (a Luxury Collection Hotel), Shangri-La Paris, The Peninsula Paris, and Yacht Mirage.

Buyers and exhibitors were invited to attend incredible Evening Events in the most Parisian landmark venues, with unique hosts: Dorchester Collection Event Evening at Hôtel Plaza Athénée & Le Meurice, Dior Evening Event at Dior Paris 30 Montaigne, and Monaco Closing Party at Voyage, Samaritaine.
