Dusit Hotels and Resorts, the hospitality branch of Dusit International, a prominent Thai hotel and real estate development firm, is gearing up for its triumphant return to ITB Berlin from March 5 to 7. At the event, the company will showcase an impressive lineup of new destinations, innovative brands, and the highly anticipated reopening of its iconic flagship, Dusit Thani Bangkok, scheduled for this September.

Under the leadership of Gilles Cretallaz, Chief Operating Officer at Dusit International, the Dusit team will offer a comprehensive overview of their global presence, emphasizing their commitment to personalized service, deep community connections, holistic well-being experiences, and sustainable practices. Attendees can anticipate insights into the latest additions to the Dusit family.

Highlighted openings from last year include the boutique Dusit Suites Athens in Greece, Dusit Princess Hotel Residences Nairobi in Kenya, ASAI Kyoto Shijo and Dusit Thani Kyoto in Japan, and Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel and Dusit Princess Kathmandu in Nepal.

Thailand will also see new additions like ASAI Bangkok Sathorn, dusitD2 Samyan Bangkok, and Dusit Princess Phatthalung, expanding Dusit’s domestic footprint to 18 properties.

Looking forward to 2024, Dusit plans approximately 10 new hotel openings across China, the Maldives, Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia, and India. Additionally, visitors to ITB Berlin can learn about Dusit’s luxury brands: Dusit Collection and Devarana – Dusit Retreats.

Building on their existing portfolio, these brands aim to cater to diverse traveler preferences, from luxury to midscale lifestyle and villa rentals. Dusit Collection focuses on unique and authentic experiences, while Devarana – Dusit Retreats offers ultra-luxury stays.

A highlight of the event will be the reintroduction of Dusit Thani Bangkok, promising a fresh take on Thai-inspired hospitality with its grand reopening in September. This reimagined version of the legendary hotel, situated in its original prime location, will feature spacious rooms, a large ballroom, diverse dining options, and an urban wellness concept.

Furthermore, Dusit will showcase special campaigns tied to its upcoming 75th anniversary in May, along with opportunities in Dusit Hospitality Education and Dusit Foods, the company’s food division.

“ITB Berlin offers a valuable platform for us to share our vision for the future of our unique brand of Thai-inspired gracious hospitality,” said Cretallaz. “With our expanding portfolio and innovative brand offerings, we continue to redefine luxury experiences worldwide. The return of the iconic Dusit Thani Bangkok, after gracing Bangkok’s skyline for nearly five decades, marks a significant event in the hospitality landscape and an exciting new chapter for Dusit overall. We’re excited to unveil the exceptional reimagined offerings of this legendary hotel and the many meaningful and memorable experiences available at Dusit Hotels and Resorts worldwide.”

Dusit’s portfolio now spans 299 properties in 18 countries, including 56 under Dusit Hotels and Resorts and 243 luxury villas under Elite Havens, acquired in September 2018.
