Every year, thousands of visitors pour into the Hudson Valley to enjoy the natural beauty, historic venues, outdoor activities and more.

Dutchess Tourism is interested to take advantage of all the opportunities available to the visitors’ world over and has employed a marketing representative in Germany to let all the European travel agencies to know what the county and the region have to offer.

This past week, Christian Zerbian spent touring the region with Dawn Hopper, Dutchess Tourism’s director of tour and travel.

“It’s a perfect getaway destination for people who come, maybe for the second or third time to New York City. It’s just 90 minutes by train to Dutchess County and the Hudson Valley so it’s a very good opportunity to get some rest and see this beautiful destination,” he said.

Estate, the Walkway Over the Hudson, and the Rhinebeck Aerodrome, along other attractions. Also, he spent time in Ulster and Orange counties.

As Hopper put it, visitors are not much aware about county lines when they come to the Hudson Valley.
