The countries in East Africa currently are integrating their tourist destinations to provide improved tourism experiences to the visitors who are visiting these attractions along the East African corridor, the officials from the East African countries have recently said this.

This comment came during the Oromia Tourism Week 2023. It began on Sunday in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia, with different activities like exhibitions, panel discussions and beauty contests.

While sharing thoughts about the consequences of starting a regional tourism platform, a representative of the Rwandan Chamber of Tourism, Sarah Kirenga, said that the incorporation would assist in offering a variety of new places to tourists coming to the corridor.

Kirenga said that it is vital for them in tourism to be able to sell a product that link with each other. They would be able to sell their tourists a place that is giving many options.

She also added that Oromia Tourism Week acts as a platform to decelop a network in the tourism ecosystem, encourage a diversity of products of tourism, and improve regional tourism.

With the amalgamation, it will be quite seamless to sell a package of tourism that is complete and very attractive, said Kirenga.
