In the month of July, two months prior to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency intended a security review of Nepal’s flying arrangement, the Tourism Ministry sent the draft civil aviation notices to the cabinet, looking for its ‘approval in principle’ to present it in Parliament.

The communication was strong. Approving the civil aviation notices would confirm a self-governing controller and put Nepal out of the air security list, which has instigated enormous harm to Nepal’s tourism segment and given it the status of being a nation with a record of awful flight security.

The draft bills, by now approved by the upper house and released by the lower house after a modification in the government, were curtly stopped by the Pushpa Kamal Dahal government.

These two long-undecided flight bills envision dividing Nepal’s aviation organization into two units, i.e. service supplier and supervisor, a situation for Nepal to be crossed off the air security list.

A lot of sources say that the bill’s approval was halted by Pradip Adhikari, the director general of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, after he guaranteed the Prime Minister and other administrative frontrunners that the European Commission (EC), inclusive of the European Union executive, would take away the prohibition this time.
