Marriott International, in collaboration with Ian Schrager, proudly unveils its first Caribbean property, The Riviera Maya EDITION at Kanai. Nestled within a 620-acre nature reserve in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, this luxury resort sets a new standard for laidback extravagance, blending EDITION’s distinctive hospitality with the rich culture of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Situated in the Kanai luxury resort community, the property seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings, featuring mangroves, lagoons, and two miles of pristine white-sand beachfront. The resort’s design draws inspiration from the ancient Mayans, embracing the universe’s concept through native elements and architectural brilliance.

In addition to its breathtaking natural beauty, Kanai is a haven for nature lovers, hosting diverse flora and fauna, including sea turtles protected by the resort’s conservation program. The Riviera Maya EDITION at Kanai places a strong emphasis on sustainability, with less than 10% of the 620-acre reserve developed and a commitment to eco-friendly practices.

The resort boasts 182 guestrooms, including 30 suites, each offering stunning views of the ocean or mangroves. The highlight is the Sky Rooftop Villa, North America’s largest hotel penthouse, featuring an outdoor infinity pool and expansive entertainment deck.

Culinary delights await guests with award-winning chefs Francisco “Paco” Ruano and Tomás Bermúdez curating unique dining experiences at KI’IS and SO’OL. The resort also features an all-day dining experience in the Kitchen and a health-conscious Pool Bar.
