The tourism strategy of Egypt is all set to attain fast growth in the sector. By now, the country has welcomed over 7 million tourists in the first half of 2023, the highest level in the history of Egypt.

Under the management of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the government has worked to improve the sector to make sure that it remains competitive with other tourist destinations of the world. Headed by His Excellency Ahmed Issa, the Ministry of Tourism attempts to expand as well as raise the standard of tourism services offered to visitors to attain their remarkable targets.

Around 7000-year-old heritage of Egypt makes the country one of the most captivating ones in the world. It has experienced a cultural renaissance in recent years. Billions of pounds were spent by Egypt in opening new museums and reestablishing archaeological sites.

The main strategy in Cairo is to have three museums that would be representing the treasures of olden Egypt: Tahrir Square’s ancient Cairo Museum will remain open; at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation, the Royal Mummies can be seen and the new Grand Egyptian Museum will display a new collection. The government is dedicated to improve tourism by investing in the hotel rooms and their numbers in the country.
