Emily Nelson has been appointed General Manager at Cape Arundel Inn and Resort in Kennebunkport. She comes with over five years of experience working for a collection of luxury hotels and restaurants in Kennebunkport, Maine and brings her expertise and knowledge to the new role where she will provide operational leadership and strategic direction for the 29-room property.
Previously, Nelson served as the Guest Services Supervisor for Auberge Resorts Collection’s White Barn Inn & Spa in Kennebunkport, ME, where she led the guest service staff, anticipated needs of guests and ensured all requests, inquiries and feedback were met and exceeded for each occasion.
Nelson also served as KRC’s Revenue and Reservations Manager where she managed the daily rates and inventory for nine boutique hotel properties. Prior to this, Nelson was the General Manager for The Tides Beach Club where she directed day-to-day operations and business functions for the 21-room hotel. Nelson began her KRC career as Hidden Pond’s Front Desk Manager where she recruited, trained and supervised the guest services staff of 20 employees.
